Lesson 3: Diffraction and Interference of water waves
When waves pass through an obstacle or through a small opening, the wave spreads out. This is the phenomenon called Diffraction.
Interference occur when two waves are superimposed. If the crests of the two waves coincides, we have constructive interference. If a crest and a trough coincides, we have a destructive interference
